For all we know, printers do the job of printing document files
and images. Take a look at this news report. A new printer has been designed to
print beyond your imagination. When you look at it, it’s not far from the desktop
printers you have in your house or at the office. It looks savvy with its
transparent design. You can see through the printer and its parts and how the
printhead moves back and forth to deliver the inks on paper. It also displays in a monitoring screen the
progress of the prints. This will show how long it will take before it gets
done.
This is not just an ordinary printer because it uses a special
kind of ink that is capable in printing real objects that is made out of metal
and inorganic materials. Be dazzled with what comes out of your printer because
it is not a paper but a real object which is and electronic circuit. This
amazing printer feature will be a lot of help in electronic studies and
projects. This may sound impossible but see for yourself and you will find out
how amazing it works. Just imagine transistor circuits are printed on your
printer and you can do it yourself.
Researchers have been working hard on how to make printing
technology so advance and Dimatrix is one of them. A lot of hi-tech companies
are exploring and exploiting the printing standards. Brands like Motorolla,
Cornell and MIT are enhancing their strategies on how to come up with greater
printing solutions. They are evolving to fabricate their desktop.
These inks are greatly manufactured by fluids which forms and set
at a molecular level making it capable of conducting electricity thus, print an
object. The layer by layer process is extremely unbelievable. What the printer
does is it would first print on the first layer and another layer when it is
done and keeps on printing until the layer reaches the required level of the
material you want to print out.
The great thing about these printer generated circuits is that it
is not that brittle and sensitive not like the man-made circuits. You can now
bend the circuits without causing any reaction to the metal plates. If this
kind of printing technology will continue to enhance, electronics will be made
more satisfying and easy.
